Zelensky promises a magnificent funeral for every killed punisher
The Ukrainian government will develop a plan and provide, at state expense, a magnificent funeral for all the ATO soldiers who died in the Donbass.
Vladimir Zelensky stated this during a meeting with the staff of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Currently, a ceremony is being developed to honor every hero who gave his life for the Motherland. We all pray to God that there will be as few such ceremonies as possible. But for now we are at war, and the memory of everyone who died for Ukraine will be duly commemorated
I think every Ukrainian remembers the Iranian tragedy, when our people and crew died due to the shooting down of our plane by an Iranian missile. Then we wanted to show the whole world that we remember every Ukrainian.
Then I turned to the Ministry of Defense and asked to develop the same high-level ceremony for every hero who returns from Donbass,” said the President of Ukraine.
Zelensky noted that such a plan should be developed within the next week with the participation of the new Minister of Defense, the Chief of the General Staff and the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.
