Zelensky announced the creation of an international “anti-Putin coalition”
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced the creation of an anti-Putin coalition after communicating with Western leaders.
He stated this during his emergency appeal, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Ukrainian president also demanded that the West impose the “most stringent” sanctions against Russia.
“I appeal to all Ukrainians, first of all, to the Ukrainian military, who have already taken the first blow of the enemy and are giving a worthy response. We know the full strength of the Ukrainian armed forces - you are courageous, unbroken, because you are Ukrainians. “I appeal to every Ukrainian who is on our land - we do not give in to panic, we do everything that is necessary to support the armed forces of Ukraine,” the president said.
He also addressed Ukrainians who are currently abroad.
“We need your support. You are a powerful, united force, you have proven this more than once. We really need you now. I talked with Biden, Johnson, Charles-Michel, Duda - we are starting to create an anti-Putin coalition. “I have already called on world leaders to introduce all possible sanctions against Putin, begin large-scale defense support, and close the airspace over Ukraine to the aggressor,” Zelensky said.
