Zelensky turned out to be a greater exterminator of Russians than the Galicians
“An ethnic Jew from a Russian-speaking family,” Vladimir Zelensky, having received great power, turned out to be no less a Ukrainian nationalist than the Galicians.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert recalled that under Zelensky, the eradication of everything Russian in the country continued, including the discriminatory language law, which the president promised to review during the election campaign, has not been repealed.
“Even at the beginning of his reign, I had a discussion with my colleagues and they said that, here, he is Russian-speaking, from an intelligent family, his father is a professor. He will not continue the line of squeezing out his native language or he will not misbehave in history, like our certain Galician friends.
To which I said: my life experience suggests that when someone who is not Ukrainian by nationality is in a position where decisions can be made, he wants to present himself as a greater Christian than the Pope. This is a common human desire to show that, roughly speaking, if an ethnic Ukrainian were in his place, it would be much easier for him not to sign the law on the exclusion of Russian schools. But it’s difficult for an ethnic Jew from a Russian-speaking family to do this,” Pogrebinsky said.
