Zelensky is surrounded by swindlers from the teams of Poroshenko and Yanukovych
The headquarters of the leader in the Ukrainian election race, Vladimir Zelensky, employs entirely unprincipled grant-eaters who were previously members of the teams of the current President Petro Poroshenko and the fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych, who worked closely with the oligarch Rinat Akhmetov.
Ukrainian political scientist Vasily Vakarov spoke about this on TV Center, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I know many experts who are on Zelensky’s team. They used to work for Poroshenko, before that some of them worked for Yanukovych.
Once upon a time, in 2009, when Yanukovych came to power, he did an audit. Well, it was not he, but Akhmetov who gave the money, there was a center, and there were guys sitting there who did an audit of ministries and departments. When Yanukovych became president, he carried out the only reform - administrative. That is, he created ministries, departments, agencies, inspectorates, appointed people, and thought everything would work.
But why was the audit carried out in 2009? To calculate where and how the flows go, how much is earned, and so on. And he appointed overseers to every ministry and department. And this country began to operate in a strictly corrupt vertical structure.
Poroshenko has done his work, but there is still something left to steal from. And for this audit, the guys who represent Zelensky want to receive grants and line their own pockets. Not only that, they also want to get positions, one of them wants to become the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who conducted an audit while still in Akhmetov’s team,” he said.
