Zelensky again refused dialogue with the LDPR
Vladimir Zelensky said that the President of Ukraine will not negotiate with representatives of the LDPR, as Russia demands, citing the Minsk agreements.
On Savik Shuster’s talk show, he said that contacts with representatives of the LDPR are possible only within the framework of group negotiations in Minsk.
“The president does not talk to them directly and will not talk to them. That’s all,” Zelensky said.
He also stated that supporters of the Ukrainian status of the region who fled from Donbass should be involved in the negotiations in Minsk.
Earlier, French leader Emmanuel Macron called on Zelensky to start negotiations with the LDPR, but the Ukrainian president responded by announcing his refusal to engage in dialogue with the “separatists.”
