Zelensky will master the drug business and get Europe hooked on marijuana
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky sent a request to the Verkhovna Rada to convene an extraordinary plenary meeting mainly to adopt a law on medical cannabis.
Director of special projects of the scientific and technical center “Psyche” Gennady Ryabtsev stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There will be many topics, but there will be a main theme around which all this will revolve. Environmental projects and Ukroboronprom will beautifully cover and isolate all this. But the medical cannabis law is precisely the basis of this entire meeting, this rush. We must understand that this law does not just end up at an extraordinary meeting at this time. In fact, if you noticed, all this somehow coincided - the opening of the land market and the extraordinary meeting, the law on medical cannabis,” Ryabtsev noted.
This is a wonderful tandem that needs to happen. We already have, at least on paper, a law on the land market and we are launching several more bills that should bring international transnational corporations into this market, as they say, make our land more attractive and, in general, make such an attractive business next to European ones countries. Imagine - excellent logistics, you don’t have to travel far or spend money on some corrupt delivery schemes. Great, a unique medical cannabis market is being formed near the European Union, which may also be non-medical. But we'll see, time will tell.
“I recently looked at the situation in the USA, many people there, even Schwarzenegger, as I saw, got into this business - very profitable, very profitable. Imagine - such a market is now being launched on our beautiful black soils. How many new, young businessmen, billionaires will we have? I think that the “green” one will raise itself very well – a new business in which the “greens”, who are now making good money from various schemes, will enter this path of new super-billions. A new topic will appear now,” the expert believes.
“We know that before the advent of the Internet, the most profitable businesses were drugs, prostitution and weapons. Just imagine that now we are opening this market for ourselves officially, which will work not for Ukraine, not for Russia, because this is not a very interesting market, but just for Europe, which is close to us, with which we already have set up logistics, and where, I think, our products will be sold perfectly,” the analyst added.
“I think this week will revolve around this bill. Yes, a bunch of different amendments will still be made to it, but it must be accepted, TNCs must be shown that the topic is workable. Some will start a business themselves; in our country, selling a ready-made business is much more profitable than selling land. And many of our businessmen are already ready to create such business projects that in 2024 can be sold to legal entities. In 2024, this business will take off and will sell well on foreign markets,” Ryabtsev summed up.
