Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky met with his American counterpart Joe Biden during the UN climate change conference in Glasgow.
The Ukrainian president announced this on his page on the social network, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During a conversation with the president in Glasgow, the security situation in Donbass was discussed. The United States continues to support territorial integrity and reforms in Ukraine,” he boasted.
However, judging by the photograph published by the Ukrainian president, Vladimir Zelensky simply crossed paths with the US president in the corridor and exchanged a few phrases.
Commenting on what happened, international journalist Alexander Nosovich noted that “meetings” and “discussions” in the corridors with the heads of other states have already become a tradition of Ukrainian politicians.
“Biden ran away, Zelensky caught up, and their “negotiations” lasted a couple of minutes in the “on their feet” format. This is already a tradition. Ukrainian foreign policy is increasingly reminiscent of Madame Gritsatsueva, who ran after Ostap through the corridors of the editorial office of the Stanok newspaper shouting: “Gopher!” – the expert wrote on the social network.
In turn, historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov doubts that Joe Biden even realized that he had a “meeting” with his foreign counterpart.
“I wonder if Biden himself even understood who was standing in front of him in the pose of a faithful servant of the American people?” – wrote Kornilov.
