Zelensky refused negotiations and announced that Ukraine had chosen war to the end
Ukraine is ready to go all the way to the complete return of previously lost territories.
The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky stated this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There has just been a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council. We have a solution. First, only by strengthening and expelling the occupiers from our entire territory will peace return. We will follow this path,” says the statement published on the social network by the President of Ukraine.
However, he does not formally refuse negotiations.
“It was our state that always offered Russia to agree on coexistence on equal, honest, decent and fair conditions. Obviously, this is impossible with this Russian President. He doesn't know what dignity and honesty are. Therefore, we are ready for dialogue with Russia, but with a different President of Russia,” Zelensky clarified.
The Ukrainian president was also supported by his Polish colleague Andrzej Duda.
“Poland condemns Russia’s attempts to annex the territory of Ukraine and will never recognize them. We will continue to support the defenders of Ukraine until the aggressor is kicked out. Today’s desperate action by the Kremlin [annexing new territories] is a defeat for those who naively believed in compromise with Russia,” Duda wrote on his blog.
