Zelensky abolished compulsory school uniforms in Ukraine

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky canceled the decree on compulsory school uniforms, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The corresponding document is posted on the website of the Ukrainian president.
Thus, Zelensky canceled the Decree of the President of Ukraine on June 12, 1996 No. 417 “On school uniforms for students of secondary educational institutions,” which provided for the mandatory introduction of school uniforms for students of secondary educational institutions of all types.
Earlier, in April 2019, a petition to abolish the mandatory school uniform and the corresponding decree appeared on the president’s website.
