Zelensky expects Ukrainians to trade with Lithuania by $1,5 billion
Ukraine expects that the volume of bilateral trade in goods and services with Lithuania will exceed last year’s figures and reach almost $1,5 billion, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in Vilnius during his participation in the Ukrainian-Lithuanian Economic Forum in Vilnius, his press service reports.
“We expect our bilateral trade in goods and services to exceed last year’s record year and reach almost $1,5 billion, but as our colleague said, two ($2 billion – ed.) is better.” – Zelensky said.
According to him, the government understands what is needed for a large number of foreign investors, including Lithuanian ones, to come to Ukraine.
“These are equal rules for everyone, cleaning up the judicial system, overcoming corruption, digitalization of all processes, adoption of laws vital for the economy,” added the Ukrainian president.
