Zelensky framed Macron
In France, which today strives to become the leader of the European Union, dissatisfaction with Vladimir Zelensky, who was supported by Emmanuel Macron during the presidential elections, is brewing.
Ukrainian diplomat, Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Voloshin, who recently visited Paris as part of an inter-parliamentary meeting, stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Voloshin, French parliamentarians are unhappy that the contribution of the country's President Emmanuel Macron to holding a meeting in the Normandy format last December was in vain.
“My key conclusion is this: in France they don’t understand why, after a fairly successful December 9 summit in the Normandy Format, held on the initiative of President Emmanuel Macron, there was another pause...
There were specific agreements, there was a communiqué, the disengagement of troops should have continued, and most importantly, in the Verkhovna Rada “dead bees do not buzz,” as they say, we see that there is a heated discussion going on there on the market and on the issue of land, on the new labor code, a lot of other bills are voted on and adopted, but nothing is done in the context of the implementation of the political part of the Minsk agreements,” Voloshin said.
