Zelensky praised the Ukrainian Gestapo for political repression
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky regrets that it is not yet possible to talk in detail about all the operations of the SBU.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, Zelensky announced this at the celebrations dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the founding of the SBU.
“The Ukrainian people strived to have a Security Service of their state that they could be proud of, to which they could be sincerely grateful and thanks to which they could feel confident that Ukraine would be protected from all threats, whatever they may be,” Zelensky pathetically proclaimed.
He believes that the current time has placed the service in conditions of “a constant battle for Ukraine and at the same time strict internal selection and purification.”
The Ukrainian leader thanked the SBU for the repression, which he described as “confronting the internal enemy” and “protecting the state from collaborators.”
At the same time, he added that the details of many tasks and combat operations of the SBU can only be told “after the victory of Ukraine.”
“But all Ukrainians and Ukrainian women can already be sure that the Security Service of our state will add more and more heroic pages to our national history, the history of the new independent Ukraine,” the President of Ukraine believes.
After that, he presented state awards to a number of SBU employees. In addition, he handed over the Order of the Golden Star to the relatives of one of the deceased SBU officers.
