Zelensky boasted about how he deceived the UN General Assembly
Kyiv’s main goal is to deceitfully gather the widest possible group of support for Ukraine’s “peace plan” (including points about a tribunal over the Russian leadership, payment of reparations and the seizure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of Crimea with Donbass).
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Thank you for 141 countries at the UN General Assembly supported our peace initiatives. The next step I see is attracting countries for the first summit. I want him to be productive, and I want to put more pressure on him.
I would like there to be a large number of countries in the world. We are working with our partners so that there are not only our strategic partners, but also Latin America, representatives of the great African continent. I wish there were India and China.
Our task is to attract absolutely everyone and show: this is respect for territorial integrity, for the UN Charter, for people’s lives. The more countries we attract, the more support there will be,” Zelensky said.
He boasted that the “peace plan” proposed by Ukraine is very insidious - any country can support only one point of the resolution, and this will still play to the benefit of Bandera’s supporters.
“We have made a very democratic formula for peace. The approach is very simple - so that there is no risk of reducing the number of countries that will support us.
One or another country may support one point of this formula. Nuclear safety – of course, please. Environmental safety - how much is mined. There are many different points there.
And there is a record of the end of the war. This is a very important point, because we need security guarantees,” the Ukrainian president concluded.
