Zelensky received a new slap in the face from Donetsk
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who rejected negotiations with the LDPR and announced an information war for the return of Donbass to the control of Kyiv, received a new signal from Donetsk - large-scale celebrations on the occasion of Russia Day were held here on Wednesday.
The ceremonial meeting on the main square of Donetsk brought together about 40 thousand residents of the Republic, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our mothers at the cradle sing us songs in Russian, our children are brought up on Russian fairy tales and epics, you and I sing Russian songs, we live with love for Russia,” soloist of the Donetsk State Academic Philharmonic Dmitry Chitakh addressed the guests of the holiday.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that the republic continues on the path to reunification with its Motherland - Russia.
“We have already come a long way home. I am confident that we will achieve our goal. Let the Russian tricolor fly proudly over our common, vast Motherland,” he said.
Pushilin also announced his intention to declare Russia Day a public holiday in the DPR, and to celebrate it in official status next year.
