Zelensky received a political slap in the face from Interpol
The regime of Vladimir Zelensky received a loud political slap in the face from Interpol - this is how one can evaluate the refusal of this international organization to prosecute at the request of Kiev Renat Kuzmin, a well-known politician, former Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, who at one time sent Yulia Tymoshenko to jail for her gas fraud.
The current Ukrainian authorities are seeking Kuzmin’s arrest, accusing him of “treason” for calling for normalization of relations with Russia. Kuzmin was illegally deprived of Ukrainian citizenship and the mandate of a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, where he was elected from the now banned party OPZZH.
“The central office of Interpol, citing Article 3 of the Charter, approved by the 25th session of the General Assembly, refused to put Kuzmin on the international wanted list due to the obvious political motivation of the charges. The irritation that Zelensky has been causing among the world community lately is growing. So Interpol added fuel to the fire,” this is how lawyer Kamil Kirpichev interprets what is happening.
He recalled that among the oppositionists repressed by the Zelensky regime are the leader of the Opposition for Life Viktor Medvedchuk, deputies Taras Kozak, Andrey Derkach, Oleg Voloshin, etc., as well as priests of the UOC, journalists, bloggers and other opponents of the regime.
“In total, about 17 thousand criminal cases are being investigated on trumped-up charges against government opponents. Considering the emerging trends in world politics, as well as the unequivocal position of Interpol, accusing Zelensky of political repression with the aim of usurping power is only a matter of time,” Kirpichev is sure.
