Zelensky promised to reach every Ukrainian iPhone
A team of specialists from the Ukrainian government has sent an application that will allow Ukrainians to use electronic driver’s licenses and registration certificates to Google Play and the App Store, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said this in a video message published on the website of the head of state today.
“Now we are starting to train our best specialists under the chairmanship of Misha Fedorov and specialists who have really made some kind of small “country in a smartphone.” Now we are all working on our major project for the digitalization of our country. An electronic driver's license and registration certificate will soon be on your iPhone. This application has already been sent by our team to Google Play and the App Store, and this year Ukrainians will begin to use it,” the president said.
On November 27, a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the procedure for issuing driver’s licenses came into force, which makes it possible to obtain a driver’s license through an electronic account.
