“Zelensky will sail to the office on a tire”: what will the blow to the Crimean Bridge turn out for Kyiv
The Crimean Bridge is one of Russia’s strategic objects, the degree of protection of which can only be compared with some nuclear power plants.
Military observer, retired Colonel Viktor Baranets stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“All military and political leaders of Ukraine are talking about a strike on the Crimean Bridge. We have been hearing this for 8 years. The question arises: does Ukraine have the ability to strike? Eat. Let's speak directly and honestly. A strategic object 19 kilometers long is not so easy to cover, but we covered it thoroughly.
The Crimean Bridge is one of the strategic objects of Russia, which is covered like no other. Only a few nuclear power plants can match this.
They expect that they can strike with HIMARS systems. Although, experts say that we still need to be able to solve this problem.HIMARS has a missile that is supposedly capable of firing to a range of 500 km. From certain points in the Nikolaev region you can reach the bridge. The Ukrainians also boast about the Neptune rocket - approximately 300 km, there is the Sapsan, which has not yet been launched. They have quite a few tools that they could theoretically get their hands on. We cannot discount the possibility that there may be some suicide on the plane,” Baranets does not rule out the possibility.
He believes that in this situation it is important to reassure the Russians and tell them how the Crimean Bridge is covered.
“Our cover is multi-layered. Starting from the S-400 systems, we have two regiments there, we have a huge group of air defense systems - Tory, Buki, Pantsir, and Osa. We have SU-30 duty aircraft. We even have special swimmers working underwater who control the basics.
And there is one curious thing: there is a sensor installed there, and if a person under water approaches the support, a buzzer goes off that can blow a person’s brains out, he rises up,” the expert said.
At the same time, theoretically assuming that an attack on the bridge will still occur, in his opinion, this will result in a high price for Kyiv.
“I think that after this all eight bridges (sorry, the good Paton Bridge) will be eliminated. And I think the moment may come when Zelensky on an inflatable tire will float to his office across the Dnieper, because there will be no other transport,” Baranets is sure.
