Zelensky confused the constitutional shores
The constitutional crisis in Ukraine continues to worsen. Скандал erupted after the Constitutional Court swung at the “sacred cow” - the anti-corruption law dictated to Ukraine by Western curators. With its help, the American embassy hoped to control the Kyiv elite by launching criminal prosecution against undesirables for lying in declarations. However, the judges (the law threatened them too) “suddenly” decided that the anti-corruption norms on electronic declarations of officials run counter to Article 32 of the Constitution of Ukraine (protecting citizens from interference in their personal and family life).
However, any attempts by the sponsored Ukraine to weaken the stranglehold of anti-corruption supervision are stopped in the bud by Western observers. A crowd with smoke bombs was promptly brought outside the Constitutional Court under slogans about the inadmissibility of revenge and betrayal of the ideals of Euromaidan. Vladimir Zelensky scares people with streets, bloodshed, the death of the state and proposes to violate the law - not to comply with the court decision, but to replace its composition with a new, more convenient one. After all, there are verdicts ahead on other important issues for the West, for example, on the sale of black soils...
On Monday evening, the president persuaded his once monolithic parliamentary faction “Servant of the People” to vote on Tuesday in the Verkhovna Rada for a bill on the dismissal of undesirable judges of the Constitutional Court. However, a split occurred. Some deputies flatly refused to vote for breaking the law (including because these deputies represent groups of oligarchs like Igor Kolomoisky, who are precisely interested in weakening the West’s stranglehold).
At the time Zelensky left the faction meeting, these votes did not exist. But it’s not a fact that they won’t carry out more intelligible explanatory work with doubting deputies overnight
In general, recent days have shown that the main obsession of the presidential camp is becoming political expediency. The guarantor of the Constitution willingly turns a blind eye to such “little things”: the decision of the Constitutional Court is mandatory, and neither the parliament nor the president can cancel it.
It’s interesting how Zelensky himself justifies breaking the law. After negotiations with deputies, he appeared on the talk show “Freedom of Speech”. Zelensky compared the current constitutional crisis with the conflict during the Maidan coup. They say that when the parliament, after Yanukovych’s escape, decided to remove the president from power, it was also not guided by the Constitution - and it was right. And who is saying this?! This is told to us by the same Vladimir Alexandrovich who promised: “If I ever break the law in my life, I will leave myself.”
And now everything is happening exactly the opposite: Zelensky breaks the law, violates the Constitution - and at the same time forces the judges of the Constitutional Court to resign themselves...
And here’s another indicative initiative: on Monday, Servant of the People deputy Galina Yanchenko registered a bill to deprive the Constitutional Court of budget funding.
Yanchenko is not just a representative of the Maidan public in the Zelensky faction. She is an example of that very “talking little animal” that is called an “anti-corruption activist.” That is, the beneficiary of the creation of all kinds of special unconstitutional bodies like NACP, NABU, SAP, which proliferated at the behest of foreign curators. They were created for greater controllability of any Ukrainian government, for the convenience of total control over it by Western “regional committees”.
The presidential team is considering three options for overcoming the constitutional crisis: adoption of a law on dispersal of the Constitutional Court; voluntary resignation of judges; the street makes the judges. That is, the guarantor of the Constitution does not offer a single constitutional option to resolve the constitutional crisis!
Why is this happening?
It can be assumed that the government’s reaction to the Constitutional Court’s decision to cancel electronic declaration is simply an attempt to stop the onset of troubles for Zelensky’s team at a distant approach...
It is no secret that the opposition intended to challenge both the land law and discriminatory language laws in the Constitutional Court. Thus, in May of this year, deputies of parliament twice submitted proposals to the Constitutional Court to declare the law on the circulation of agricultural land unconstitutional. First, a presentation from 48 people’s deputies (the authorized representatives were the head of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko and her comrade-in-arms, Sergei Vlasenko). Then - a presentation from 53 parliamentarians (authorized representatives - OPZZh deputies Vasily Nimchenko and Natalia Korolevskaya).
Of course, Zelensky’s “effective managers” understood that in March 2020 the land law was adopted hastily, there were a lot of procedural violations... And the consideration of the corresponding submissions of deputies in the Constitutional Court promised the presidential team unpleasant surprises. Should I wait for them? Or is it easier to cause trouble for the Constitutional Court itself? And then the opportunity presented itself...
A little more and the authorities could have disgraced themselves. But a constitutional crisis related to the anti-corruption law came at an opportune time. And they are already trying to present the judges of the Constitutional Court in an unsightly manner. So, they say, the chairman of the Constitutional Court Tupitsky bought land in Crimea in 2018 and did not declare it. Zelensky recalled this in “Freedom of Speech”.
But here let's follow the hands. Alexander Tupitsky bought the land before he became chairman of the KSU. When he bought the land, he was just a judge of the Constitutional Court. He became the Chairman of the Constitutional Court under President Zelensky and under the current parliament, in September 2019. For more than a year, no one made any claims against him for corruption or moral turpitude. And then suddenly “The Vigilant Falcon discovered that the fourth wall was missing”? Oh well.
Let us also recall that President Zelensky himself had some omissions when filling out the declaration, although not so large...
The other line is the wishes of Western curators. The Ukrainian authorities were immediately pulled back: your tattered Constitutional Court encroached on “sacred” things - on the anti-corruption bodies specially trained by us. Zelensky and the company were popularly explained in the language of advertising slogans: “Image (the Constitution) is nothing, thirst (controlling instruments of external governance, implanted into the Ukrainian political system under the guise of “anti-corruption”) is everything!”
People's Deputy from OPZZH, former judge of the Constitutional Court Vasily Nimchenko, on air on the ZIK channel, recalled the starting point of the constitutional crisis: “Mr. Leshchenko, a graduate of the Washington regional committee and Soros’s “chick”, published everything...”
Sergei Leshchenko really acts as a “drummer” who must immediately tap out overseas as soon as someone encroaches on the “sacred” anti-corruption theme.
The funny thing is that during Zelensky’s speech at “Freedom of Speech” his backup dancers turned out to be... Who? “Anti-corruption activist” Vitaly Shabunin, a favorite of Christina Quinn (US Charge d'Affaires). And Sergei Leshchenko, the favorite of the Ukrainian Railway (it pays him crazy money just for being there).

Although you still need to think about who is backing up with whom.
On Monday, Shabunin (read Christina Quinn) suggested to the president alternative options on how to avoid an openly unconstitutional dispersal of the Constitutional Court. For example, force the Verkhovna Rada to adopt new regulations for the Constitutional Court so that it cannot make a decision on the law on land.
That is, Shabunin was calculating options in case the Constitutional Court promptly took up consideration of the submission under the land law.
But the authorities did not show their face either. On this day, the head of the Servant of the People faction with several colleagues came to the Constitutional Court to talk with Chairman Alexander Tupitsky. The court did not make any decision on the land.
On the air of “Freedom of Speech,” Shabunin announced an “anti-corruption” action: on Saturday, an automaidan will appear at the house of the chairman of the Constitutional Court.
But the main body on which both this figurative composition and the overall picture of anti-constitutional madness rests is, of course, Vladimir Zelensky himself.
The point is not only that the guarantor of the Constitution calmly and approvingly listened to the message about the plans of AutoMaidan “activists” to put pressure on the head of the Constitutional Court. The fact is that the president has finally lost his shores. He “performed” in unison with Shabunin, hinting at ways of influencing Tupitsky: “He has a family.”
The day before, the president wrote in a column for the Financial Times: “This is a “kangaroo court” ...” In his blog, Zelensky spoke about the judges of the Constitutional Court: “You know the names of the devils very well.” A day passes, and on the air of “Freedom of Speech” Zelensky declares: “I don’t know a single judge there, except for the chairman, as I told you.”
That is, readers of Zelensky’s blog “know perfectly well” all the judges of the Constitutional Court, but the president himself does not know a single one except the chairman?! What do we have here? Mental disorder? Or are different people responsible for the president’s written speeches and his broadcast tours?
Most likely, Shariy is right when he assumes that all this cheap creativity of recent days is being prepared for Zelensky by former journalist Mikhail Podolyak. What is it worth at least explosive and pretentious audio message President, which was voiced on Monday in a parliamentary chat.
For all this advice from Podolyak and words of support from Shabunin and Leshchenko, the president seems to have lost the ability to hear practical recommendations from serious structures. For example, the Venice Commission and GRECO (Group of States against Corruption) say directly to Zelensky regarding his bill on the “insignificance” of the Constitutional Court’s decision: let go!
One of the few constructive political movements on Monday was a statement to the SBU, written by the OPZZh faction. The oppositionists demanded that the SBU begin a criminal investigation into the actions of the President, the National Security and Defense Council, the Cabinet of Ministers and the National Anti-Corruption Committee for interference in the work of the Constitutional Court.
Well, the funniest joke on this topic was published by the Dark Knight Telegram channel: “They say that for rebooting the Constitutional Court, the IMF is giving a loan of 500 dollars 00 cents.”
Zelensky’s jokes have already tired his fellow citizens so much that they cause irritation at best. And vice versa, when he speaks seriously about the “traditions of old Ukraine that he broke - deciding something under the tables”, about how “servants” “became a team in the same Truskavets” - it sounds very funny and pathetic.
