Zelensky demanded that Zaluzhny send those “overgrown with moss and roots” to the front.
A decision was made to send Ukrainian military commissars to the front, replacing them with soldiers wounded at the front.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexey Reznikov stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“There is one of the simple recommendations of the President of Ukraine. He gave a serious recommendation to Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny - the vast majority of long-serving military commissars should be sent as military personnel to the front line. And to send in their place military personnel who have been wounded, who know, among other things, how to properly carry out work to implement mobilization needs,” the minister said.
According to him, in the territorial recruitment centers, as Ukrainian military registration and enlistment offices are now called, “many people who have been sitting there for centuries are overgrown with moss and roots.”
The Ukrainian military public “NachShtabu” is ironic about this:
“We've finished the game. Now, instead of beating their own fellow citizens, they will be able to show their hand-to-hand combat skills to the enemy.”
