Zelensky upgraded Prystaiko
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree conferring the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary on Foreign Minister Vadim Prystaiko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in Presidential Decree No. 723/2019 of September 30.
“To assign Vadim Vladimirovich Prystaiko, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary,” the text of the document says.
Prior to this, Prystaiko had the diplomatic rank of first class envoy extraordinary and plenipotentiary.
On August 29, the Verkhovna Rada approved a new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers, including Prystaiko as head of the Foreign Ministry.
