Zelensky chided their children for beating the police
17 law enforcement officers were injured today during clashes with nationalists near the Verkhovna Rada, where a rally was taking place against the plans of Vladimir Zelensky’s team to sell Ukrainian black soil to foreign corporations.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. One of the injured security forces may require craniotomy.
It’s interesting that in the evening there were people from the regional department all detained nationalists were released, as a rally of their “brothers” gathered near the walls, threatening to start blocking the roads.
Meanwhile, Vladimir Zelensky made an official statement regarding the events in Kyiv, for some reason blaming the “old elites” for the protests, although it is known that the National Corps militants are controlled by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov.
“Everyone has the right to peaceful assembly. Everyone has the right to express an opinion. And everyone must bear responsibility if another suffers from their actions.
Discussions about legislative initiatives should not violate the law... This is not the path of a civilized country... The authorities, as promised, introduce amendments to the land law between the first and second readings based on discussions with Ukrainians. We listen to people. And this is how Ukraine will move towards a better life, despite the resistance of the old “elites,” Zelensky said.
