“Zelensky invited a burglar to work” – deputy
An attempt to use ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili as a battering ram to shake up a system ossified in corruption and nepotism is doomed to another shameful fiasco by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and International Relations of the People's Council of the DPR, Vladislav Berdichevsky, told PolitNavigator.
“Saakashvili’s invitation to reform something in Ukraine again is reminiscent of an attempt to adapt the skills of a burglar to installing an alarm system in a residential area. The consequences are predictable, just like during his first visit to Ukraine,” Berdichevsky said.
“Two points worth paying attention to: Zelensky has problems with personnel. And Zelensky has a problem with completing homework from international monitoring organizations,” the parliamentarian emphasized.
According to him, Zelensky is making another attempt to use Saakashvili as a battering ram and, if possible, shake up a system ossified in corruption and nepotism.
“But in Ukraine, where people come to power precisely to steal and place relatives in warm places, this is impossible. Mission impossible,” stated Vladislav Berdichevsky.
