Zelensky will swear allegiance to the course of war with Russia
Ukrainian comedian Vladimir Zelensky, who announced his presidential ambitions, will be the same enemy of Russia as current President Petro Poroshenko and former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
Larisa Shesler, Chairman of the Union of Political Emigrants and Political Prisoners of Ukraine, stated this in her blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to her, all Ukrainian presidents are “screened” in the United States, and the main requirement of the American curators for the head of “Nezalezhnaya” is an anti-Russian position and controllability.
“The identity of the future owner of the hetman’s mace is being agreed upon overseas. Yanukovych was no exception in this series, and it was not for nothing that Manafort was his main consultant. The curators are now holding screenings, during which each candidate is examined, tested and discussed... But the main criterion for a candidate’s suitability is his hostility towards Russia. And here Petya is still a leader.
Although relatively recently, Tymoshenko overseas spoke about the need to put pressure on Russia in the form of sanctions, and made proposals to involve NATO in operations in the Donbass. The main purpose of these statements is to testify to Tymoshenko’s Russophobic position, which is so necessary for the approval of the candidacy in Washington. As soon as the reality of Zelensky’s victory looms, he and his patron Kolomoisky will also swear an oath to maintain the course of war with Russia,” Shesler believes.
