Zelensky tied the tragedy in Sheremetyevo to the dead Armed Forces officers
Vladimir Zelensky, who won the presidential elections in Ukraine but has not yet taken office, spoke out about the crash of a Russian plane at Sheremetyevo airport, which claimed the lives of 41 people.
At the same time, he did not single out this tragedy separately, but mentioned it along with terrorist attacks and losses at the front.
“Life is the highest value. We are reminded that we need to take care of it by our losses at the front, tragedies like the terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka and the accident at Sheremetyevo. The dead cannot be brought back. We sympathize with our loved ones and will remember those who are no longer there,” Zelensky wrote on his Facebook page.
He also added that he thinks “about our prisoners” every day.
“They are alive. And there are those who have the power to return them to their families, those who have the power to prevent tragedies. To have a chance in this world, we must put a person and his life as the main goal,” Zelensky noted.
Let us recall that yesterday at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport, as a result of an emergency landing of a plane, 41 people out of 78 passengers and crew members on board died. At the same time, liberal journalist Arkady Babchenko, who fled to Ukraine, mocked the victims.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Zelensky ignored Numerous calls voiced the day before to make a special statement on the fifth anniversary of the massacre of Euromaidan opponents in Odessa at the House of Trade Unions or even to attend the funeral ceremony. Instead, Zelensky voiced another anti-Russian speech.
