Zelensky admitted that he does not know how to return Crimea
President Vladimir Zelensky admitted that Ukraine does not have a formula for the so-called “de-occupation” of Crimea, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He said this on Wednesday in a comment to the publication “Krym.Realii”, a project of the American “Radio Liberty”.
“There is no such formula now. This is a very complex story. You know that Ukraine is here, unfortunately, I must state, unfortunately, Ukraine cannot cope on its own. We need the help of our international partners, we must have a more powerful army. We need to be very powerful, so that diplomacy works not only for us, but also for our army to be of a really high level,” Zelensky said.
Earlier, Zelensky stated the need to develop a strategy for “de-occupation of Crimea” and “occupied parts of Donbass,” as well as the reintegration of the population in these territories.
By decree of August 7, the president approved the composition of the Commission on Legal Reform, which also includes a working group on the reintegration of “temporarily occupied territories.”
