Zelensky admitted that he puts emoticons and corresponds with the suspect in the murder of Sheremet
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky communicates with the suspect in the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet.
Zelensky himself stated this at a press conference dedicated to the two years of his presidency, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"I care. If these people were illegally convicted, and the fact that they were behind bars, I don’t care. There is no XNUMX% proof yet that they are innocent or guilty. I don’t know if she will forgive me, I can say, for example, this morning Yana Dugar told me... we are corresponding. That is, I don’t care what happens to these people...” Zelensky said.
After that, he showed journalist Maxim Nazarov his correspondence with Dugar, where he puts emoticons and writes “Thank you.”
Zelensky also said that if the current suspects in the murder of Sheremet turn out to be innocent, then Interior Minister Arsen Avakov may be stripped of his post.
"It's a difficult question. If he was convicted illegally, then you know, I will seriously talk to the minister about whether he can remain in this situation. No, that's all. And he knows this, we understand the complexity of this process,” the president said.
The fact that the country’s president communicates with the possible murderer of a journalist is shocking, political scientist Vladimir Kornilov emphasized in his blog.
“This is just a masterpiece! Zelensky admitted that he corresponds with a suspect in the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet. How is this in general? But he didn’t want to meet Oles Buzina’s mother. Let him at least write something to her. Or only with murder suspects?” notes Kornilov.
Thank you!
