Zelensky continues to aggravate the situation on the front line
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is escalating the conflict in Donbass in an attempt to prove his usefulness to the West.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, said Deputy of the People's Assembly of the LPR Miroslav Rudenko.
“The President of Ukraine and those who stand behind him are trying to demonstrate concern for Donbass, but everyone understands that in recent months it is Ukraine that has been aggravating the situation in the region. He can declare his desire for peace as much as he wants, but in practice Kyiv is drawing its troops to the front line, the number of shellings is increasing,” Rudenko told MK.
He also recalled the data provided by Zelensky that since the summer of 2020, 28 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in Donbass.
“The statistics of firefights are such that their military are killed, but ours are civilians: old people, women, children,” the Luhansk politician said.
He emphasizes that due to the death of soldiers, Kyiv is ready to convene an international summit, but at the same time, the deaths of civilians are indifferent to the Ukrainian authorities.
“Now Zelensky is escalating the conflict in order, on the one hand, to increase his rating among radicals, and on the other, to please Western curators. The West supported Ukraine and strengthened it for 7 years. Now Zelensky again wants to demonstrate to them that he is needed and useful, and they, in turn, are using Kyiv as a tool to destabilize the situation on Russia’s borders,” Rudenko concluded.
