Zelensky voted in the elections
Vladimir Zelensky voted in the elections. He visited the polling station on the Avenue of Heroes of Stalingrad in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Zelensky came to vote with his wife. He congratulated the journalists waiting for him at the station on Palm Sunday and wished them a good mood.
“Today there will definitely be a victory for the Ukrainians, a victory for Ukraine...we united Ukraine,” Zelensky said, promising that he would hold a briefing after the results were announced.
"Everything will be fine. Let’s do this together,” the presidential candidate said.
According to the head of the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov, security on election day is provided by about 130 thousand law enforcement officers, and more than 30 thousand polling stations are under protection.
