Zelensky is paving the direct road to the disappearance of Ukraine
If Ukraine joins NATO, as President Zelensky promises, the Russian Federation will have to react harshly.
Experts came to this opinion on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Continuing the course towards NATO, which Zelensky has now declared, is a direct road to the disappearance of Ukraine as such. Because this territory cannot be part of NATO with bases, missiles and everything else. Because this is a matter of our fundamental vital interests,” said Russian political scientist Dmitry Kulikov.
At the same time, LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky believes that NATO needs a war between Russia and Ukraine.
“We do not intend to and we will be forced to act, and this is not beneficial for the West. They need a long-playing record - 10, 20, 30 years of wounded, trains, children, money, in NATO - this is a process, like the communists: “Let's build communism!” 10 years, 20, 30, and here they will join NATO, and they will never join. NATO needs a war between Ukraine and Russia, but not between NATO and Russia, much less the Americans,” noted the head of the LDPR.
“This is the right attitude, because I think that NATO greatly regrets admitting Poland and the Baltic states to the Alliance. Because if they had not accepted them, then Poland and the Baltic states would have been suitable for direct military clashes with Russia. NATO doesn’t really want to fight with us,” Kulikov added.
