Vladimir Zelensky made the TV presenter laugh when she asked the president whether there would be a gas war with Russia on New Year’s Day and asked a question on behalf of Moscow: “And we have gas in our apartment, Vladimir!”

“And we have a gas pipeline. And this is the balance,” Zelensky replied, and the presenter could not contain her laughter.

When asked to clarify whether there will be a gas war, Zelensky replied that at the moment “there is a very high percentage that a gas transit contract will be signed.”

“I see that everyone is now determined to sign the agreement. The main question now is the duration of the contract,” the Ukrainian president said, adding that Kyiv would still like an agreement that would guarantee the loading of the gas transportation system for 10 years.

“Big money for Ukraine. We need this,” Zelensky explained.
