Zelensky will disperse the Rada in order to “bring down” Razumkov and blame everything on the deputies
As long as Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky needs a majority in parliament, there will be no early elections to the Verkhovna Rada, but as soon as before the presidential campaign it is necessary to blame all political failures on someone, there will be no pity for his own Servant of the People faction.
Ukrainian diplomat, Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Voloshin stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I don’t think that Zelensky, with such low ratings from Servant of the People, will go to early parliamentary elections in the near future. I don't see the logic in this. But at some point he will definitely try to shift responsibility for all the failures onto parliament.
Firstly, because the competitor in the person of Mr. Razumkov is growing. Dmitry Razumkov behaves very competently; he is probably the only representative of the government against whom all opposition forces, first of all, ours, have no systemic complaints.
Yes, he carried out some decisions (but in general respecting the regulations), which we are categorically unacceptable, but he performed the role of speaker, and this was Zelensky’s position. But otherwise he is a strong politician, and we see him mature. Even for the sake of this, in order to bring him down, I think Zelensky can go to early elections,” Voloshin said.
Another factor for Zelensky in favor of early elections, he said, is the need to reset the general negativity.
“To say: yes, dear Ukrainians, I promised to fight corruption, I didn’t, I promised to lower tariffs, they went up, I promised to stop the war, thank God, they’re not shooting now, but there’s no peace either. I promised to raise the standard of living, but you have become even poorer, prices are higher, who is to blame for this, but who is to blame - the parliament, look what scoundrels they turned out to be. Fir-trees, these “Servants of the People” came under my name and betrayed them, and now I’m driving them all away. But I don’t think this will happen so quickly, because the presidential elections are still far away. Within one and a half to two years, I think this will happen,” the deputy assured.
