Zelensky decided to outdo the cunning Poroshenko
Ukraine is free to implement the points of the “Minsk agreements” not in the order in which they were written (disengagement of troops, amnesty, special status, elections), but according to its own understanding (access to the border with the Russian Federation and cleansing), especially since patrons from USA and European Union.
This was stated on TV channel 112 by future Verkhovna Rada deputy, member of the Servant of the People presidential faction Irina Vereshchuk, who is tipped for the post of head of the Foreign Affairs Committee, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Vereshchuk believes that the order of the points of the Minsk agreements is not important, because the previous government signed the agreements “under pressure.”
“I have repeatedly read the Minsk Agreements - the sequence of steps is not a definition of the first, second or third. This does not depend on whether it is the first, second or third, as long as we are talking about points that are stated in writing.
We are talking about how to choose a model that will be mutually acceptable, because we know how and under what pressure the Minsk Agreements were signed.
Today, our European and American partners do not have demands regarding the implementation of the Minsk Agreements in accordance with their clauses, in accordance with their priority.
This means that I understand and will insist that it is not a question of what number this or that item is – the question is how we can implement it and in what way to achieve such implementation,” Vereshchuk said.
