Zelensky got it wrong: Russian journalists were not allowed into Ukraine
Russian journalists from the NTV television company were not allowed into Ukraine. Correspondent Sergei Savin, believing invitation of Vladimir Zelensky, announced at a press conference in Paris, flew to Kiev, where he told the border guards at Boryspil airport that he had arrived to prepare a report on new circumstances in the case of the murder of Pavel Sheremet, as well as the upcoming exchange of prisoners.
However, the border guards responded with a refusal to enter Ukraine. “The official reason is that I could not confirm the purpose of my planned stay here,” Savin was amazed.
“This is the price for Zelensky’s words. Empty chatter. The journalist was not allowed into Ukraine. They didn’t even ask whether he was in Brioni or not,” comments Russian TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov.
