Zelensky blackmails Russia: Water for Crimea in exchange for “draining” Donbass
Ukraine can resume water supplies to Crimea in exchange for Russia’s betrayal of the Donbass republics - Moscow’s agreement to transfer control over the border of the Russian Federation and the LDPR to Kyiv.
The head of the presidential faction “Servant of the People,” David Arakhamia, stated this on the “Direct” TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we give water to Crimea, we will have a big advantage in the negotiations on Donbass - my personal position, I will consider this a sufficient compromise. I would agree to this, because citizens of Ukraine will use water in Crimea... If this is an exchange that they withdraw with all their armed forces to Rostov, we establish control over our border, and for this we must supply water to Crimea, I would I did this,” Arakhamia said.
Belarusian political scientist Igor Tyshkevich, who fled to Ukraine, criticized Arakhamia’s idea, believing that this would lead to the lifting of sanctions and the strengthening of the Crimean economy.
