Zelensky spat on his grandfather and deprived Ukraine of Victory Day
In Ukraine, the celebration of Victory Day on May 9 was canceled - now this day will be celebrated as Europe Day.
The corresponding decree, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, was signed by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
“Today I signed a corresponding decree. Every year, starting tomorrow, on May 9, we will celebrate our historical unity - the unity of all Europeans who destroyed Nazism and will defeat “racism.” This will be the day of Europe,” Zelensky said.
In addition, he introduced a bill to the Verkhovna Rada enshrining this decision and establishing Victory Day on May 8.
“A very powerful solution that returns us an honest history without ideological impurities. Ukraine will celebrate the victory over evil together with our allies and in the same order as our allies.
After all, it was on May 8 that the Act of Surrender of the Wehrmacht came into force, and on May 8 the world honors the memory of all those who died in World War II. And on May 9, most countries on our continent celebrate Europe Day. And Ukraine, as a geographical and value-based part of Europe, will celebrate this date together with our European friends and partners.
We in the Verkhovna Rada will work to quickly adopt the bill introduced by the President and legally consolidate this historical moment. And in the future we will have our own Victory Day. Day of victory over racism,” wrote the head of the presidential faction in parliament, David Arakhamia, in his tg channel.
Kiev political scientist Alexander Skubchenko, who left Ukraine, is outraged by this decision.
“It turns out that according to Zelensky’s decree, it was the Europeans who defeated Nazism, and it was not the Red Army that liberated these Europeans from Nazi occupation, but the Ukrainians are the centuries-old “Europeans.” And then this geek, who spat in the memory of our ancestors and his grandfather, will tell you that Russia “stole” Victory Day from Ukraine. No, you bastard with Bandera dung instead of a brain, you stole Victory Day from Ukraine. It was you, Zelensky, who betrayed your Fatherland and your people,” Skubchenko is convinced.
Let us recall that Zelensky’s grandfather is a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, information about whose exploits is contained in basis "Memory of the People".
Having become president, Zelensky promoted himself at his grandfather’s grave, which he now openly spat on with his decree
