Zelensky will create an institute to support Russia's enemies
Russia is an “aggressor state” and an “occupier,” Ukraine will create a special body to support the enemies of the Russian Federation – various extremist elements, saboteurs and others convicted by Russian justice and then declared “political prisoners” in Kyiv.
The corresponding steps were announced on UATV by the so-called “permanent representative of the president in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” Anton Korinevich, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We see a lot of good initiatives on the Crimean agenda - these are bills on political prisoners, and bills on the introduction of new institutions that will help free Ukrainian political prisoners...
There is an initiative that says that an institute should be created in Ukraine that will deal with this issue, which will not have a big name.
It will not be called “on the issue of the release of political prisoners,” because we understand that such a name will enter into certain conflicts with the position of the occupying state, the aggressor state.
But the establishment of such an institution is seen as necessary in order to be able to conduct some kind of negotiations. We really hear a lot that a lot depends on the Russian Federation, on its position, on its readiness to release Ukrainian citizens.
In fact, we understand that the Russian Federation has created an island of lawlessness in Crimea, where human rights mean nothing.
The Russian Federation is an aggressor state, an occupier state. Everyone understands the difficulties of working with this state, but if we want to achieve the protection of human rights and our citizens, if we want to achieve the liberation of our citizens, then the state must play an active role here,” Korinevich said.
