Zelensky sponsors broadcasts where “good Muscovites” teach us how to live - Rada deputy
The Kyiv authorities have allocated record amounts of funds for Ukraine to propaganda channels where Zelensky is glorified, inviting Russians on air.
This was stated on Channel 5 by Sofia Fedina, known as the “voice of Euromaidan”, a member of the Rada from “European Solidarity”, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Presenter Larisa Gubina complained that the new budget provides for the allocation of a “stunning” amount for media, despite the fact that virtually all the money will be spent on broadcasting a “telethon” glorifying Vladimir Zelensky, launched immediately after the start of the SVO.
“Almost two billion hryvnia for 2023. It seems to me that Ukrainian media have never received such unprecedented funding from the state. When was the last time you attended a single information marathon?” – asked the presenter.
“I have never been to the United Marathon. Some of my colleagues got involved, but these are very isolated cases, but most often we have an absolutely wild situation when they reach an agreement with my colleagues on European integration or on finances and taxes. But they will either be recorded and not broadcast, or the inclusion will simply not take place as such. That is, even at such a moment they are trying to humiliate them, set them aside and throw them somewhere,” Fedina complained.
She complained that instead of her fellow party members, state channels show all sorts of Russian liberals and other “good Russians.”
“At the same time, in our “United Marathons” and state-funded separatist ones, in my opinion, “Freedom” and “House”, and “Rada”, which has sunk below the plinth and does not broadcast the Rada, we have a lot of so-called good Muscovites who tell us how to properly build the Ukrainian state and teach us how to live,” the deputy was indignant.
