Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky issued a statement commenting on Iran's admission of guilt for the military accidentally shooting down a Ukrainian airliner at a time when Tehran was expecting a retaliatory missile attack from the United States.

“This morning was not good, but it brought the truth. Even before the end of the work of the international commission, Iran admitted its guilt in shooting down the Ukrainian plane.
