Zelensky cowardly avoided addressing the people on the anniversary of his election as president - expert
It’s been exactly a year since the second round of elections, which resulted in Vladimir Zelensky becoming president of Ukraine, and one would expect him to sum up the results of the first year of his presidency.
However, he did not make any statement on this matter because he did not fulfill anything that he promised.
Economist Maxim Goldarb spoke about this broadcast of the program “Goldarb’s Principle” on the KPT TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why is the hero of the day silent, why doesn’t he boast about his achievements? Today is the anniversary of the election of President Vladimir Zelensky. When he reached the second round, I asked everyone I could to vote for him. I am sure that the 73% he took in the second round were those who did not want to see Poroshenko’s face again as president.
I have no doubt that people voted for Zelensky correctly. It was necessary to knock out Poroshenko.
And so we elected Zelensky. Then people foolishly voted for that list - half idiots, half crooks, swindlers who entered parliament under the name of a mono-majority.
You can see for yourself what kind of parliament it turned out to be. It is a huge mistake that such a scum was launched into parliament and became the majority.
Since April 21, Zelensky has been president. We rejoiced, we believed the man who was supposed to bring something good, he said good things. He performed at the stadium and knelt down. After five years of troubles under Poroshenko, I wanted to believe in this smile.
And today there is silence. I could speak out and say: “I promised this and that, of what I promised, I did this, so and so, judge, don’t judge, there is still time, be patient.” I haven’t heard anything like that,” complains Maxim Goldarb.
