Zelensky removed Poroshenko’s people and Propaganda Minister Stets from the National Security and Defense Council
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky changed the composition of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, removing Petro Poroshenko’s people from there, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in Decree No. 340/2019.
The decree introduced the following changes to the personnel of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine:
The Chairman of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine is Vladimir Zelensky, the President of Ukraine.
The decree introduces the following persons into the personnel of the National Security and Defense Council:
Bakanov Ivan Gennadievich - First Deputy Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine - Head of the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime of the Central Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine;
Bogdan Andrey Iosifovich – Head of the Administration of the President of Ukraine;
Danylyuk Alexander Alexandrovich – Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine;
Prystaiko Vadim Vladimirovich – Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Ukraine;
Ruslan Georgievich Ryaboshapka – Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Ukraine;
Khomchak Ruslan Borisovich - Chief of the General Staff - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
At the same time, the document removes from the NSDC the former head of the Poroshenko administration Igor Rainin, the ex-secretary of the NSDC Alexander Turchynov, the ex-chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko and the still current head of the Ministry of Information Policy Yuriy Stets.
The decree comes into force from the day of its publication.
