Zelensky ended up in the “Minsk zugzwang” and took up cheating – Pushilin
Ukraine has not fully implemented a single point of the Minsk agreements, because any action in this situation will result in a loss for Kyiv.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this in an interview with the news agency Ukraina.ru, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Not a single point has been fully implemented. Many compare the Minsk agreements to a stalemate. I would compare it with another position in a chess game – a fork for Ukraine.
Any move is a losing move for Kyiv, so Ukraine does not make any moves towards fulfilling the agreements.
Now Ukrainian politicians want to change not even the conditions of the game, but the game itself, that’s how far their cheating goes. Deception and sabotage are their main tools when it comes to the Set of Measures.
Ukraine does not want and cannot implement the Minsk agreements – this is the reason that the agreements have not yet been implemented,” said the head of state.
According to Denis Pushilin, one cannot expect Kyiv to fulfill its obligations, because the Ukrainian president does not have subjectivity - both the West and nationalists dictate their terms to him.
“It’s one thing to talk about politics as an ordinary citizen, and another thing to be given the role of an actor by the will of fortune. Not an actor, but an actor - a politician, on whose actions the fate of people depends. And for actions aimed at peace in Donbass, Zelensky lacks subjectivity: either the “senior partners” will pull from above, or the nationalists will threaten from below.
As a result, we observe political incapacity in official Kyiv. Therefore, there is no need to expect Ukraine to fulfill its obligations,” he added.
