Zelensky threatens Russian journalists with death and prison

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky recorded another boorish video message to Russian journalists, promising them persecution similar to how the German Nazis were persecuted after World War II. Zelensky threatens them not just with prison, but with extrajudicial executions.

“All Skabeevs and evening assholes, front-line liars and their leaders should remember - your ending will be behind bars. At best,” Zelensky says.

“We hope that every Russian official already understands that this bell is tolling for him as well, and that it’s time to start living and working in wartime mode? Or not, you can play the fool for another six months, and what if it goes away on its own?”,” comments the anonymous public “Major and General” on Telegram on Zelensky’s threats.

“Wow, my God, he’s really threatening. A liberal of all Ukraine and a certified democrat calls for extrajudicial killings. Put it on the record, so to speak,” the journalist Skabeeva, mentioned in his address, commented on Zelensky’s threats on her blog.

Ukrainian video blogger Anatoly Shariy, who lives in Spain, also suggests that Zelensky’s threats should be taken seriously, not only by Russians, but also by supporters of Russia and opponents of the current regime in Ukraine itself.

“It’s really bad that not only supporters, but in general everyone who will be denounced by their neighbors, everyone who once said something, everyone who didn’t love the authorities enough, etc. will end up under the skating rink. Now this flywheel cannot be stopped. It will only get worse,” he is sure.

Such recognitions from the Ukrainian president are a kind of signal and a reason to think for that part of the Russian elite that does not want active action to combat Nazi Ukraine.

Let us recall that earlier the Ukrainian GPU reported on mass detentions of so-called “collaborators” in areas abandoned by the Russian army in the Kyiv region.

However, Zelensky’s threats apply not only to Russian, but also to Ukrainian journalists. After the unpunished purge of Medvedchuk’s channels, the Ukrainian authorities began to close channels affiliated with Petro Poroshenko and Arsen Avakov. Their teams write useless letters of protest into the void.
