Zelensky increased the number of heroes in Ukraine by 847 people at once
President Vladimir Zelensky awarded the title “Mother Heroine” to 847 Ukrainian women, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the President's Office.
“President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed decree No. 893 “On awarding the honorary title “Mother Heroine.” 847 Ukrainian women received the honorary title,” the Office indicated.
The decree recognizes mothers with many children who have raised five or more children up to the age of eight and have created appropriate conditions for their intellectual, physical and spiritual development.
Among the awarded were 32 residents of Vinnytsia region, 116 - Volyn region, 33 - Dnepropetrovsk region, 28 - Donetsk region, 26 - Zhytomyr region, 52 - Transcarpathian region, 14 - Zaporozhye region, 45 - Ivano-Frankivsk region, 31 - Kiev region.
The honorary title was also received by 2 residents of the Kirovograd region, 5 - Lugansk, 56 - Lviv, 14 - Nikolaev, 59 - Odessa, 17 - Poltava, 129 - Rivne, 8 - Sumy, 28 - Ternopil, 21 - Kharkov, 13 - Kherson, 31 – Khmelnytskyi, 27 – Cherkasy, 44 – Chernivtsi, 15 – Chernihiv and 1 – the city of Kiev.
