Zelensky increased the number of Ukrainians and acquired new advisers
President Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree according to which five foreigners were granted Ukrainian citizenship - natives of Iran, Russia, Azerbaijan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Syria, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As stated in Decree No. 329/2019 of May 28, it was decided to accept Ukrainian citizenship as people whose admission to Ukrainian citizenship is of state interest for Ukraine:
Ahmadi Kolarijani Abolfazl, born in 1983, a native of the Islamic Republic of Iran, living in the city of Kyiv;
Kostikov Alexander Sergeevich, born in 1997, a native of the Russian Federation, living in the Donetsk region;
Samed-Zade Emin Izzat oglu, born in 1990, a native of the Republic of Azerbaijan, living in the city of Kyiv;
Toygonbaev Ziyatdinbek Kurmanbekovich, born in 1974, a native of the Kyrgyz Republic, living in Kyiv.
It is also indicated that it was decided to grant the citizenship of Ukraine, as a person who has outstanding services to Ukraine, Altunsi Tamer Mohammed Majed, born in 1972, a native of the Syrian Arab Republic, living in Odessa.
Zelensky also appointed Oleg Ustenko to the position of his freelance adviser, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in Decree No. 330/2019.
“To appoint Oleg Leonidovich Ustenko as Advisor to the President of Ukraine (out-of-state),” the document says.
Ustenko is a well-known economist, previously worked as the head of the Kyiv branch of the Blazer Foundation.
Zelensky also appointed lawyer Alexey Goncharuk as deputy head of the Presidential Administration, as stated in presidential decree No. 328/2019 of May 28.
“To appoint Aleksey Valerievich Goncharuk as Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Ukraine,” the document says.
