“Zelensky is in a trap. It’s time for him to leave” - Soskin
The situation both in the international arena and in the domestic field is extremely dangerous for the Ukrainian authorities.
Ukrainian economist and political scientist Oleg Soskin stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Soskin, the situation in the country's economy is simply catastrophic.
“Basically a complete collapse. At the everyday level, to make it clearer, it is a financial and economic catastrophe. Once it’s an economic catastrophe, what happens next, how can we get out of this situation? There is nowhere to buy weapons, they are not produced and they have to be taken somewhere. There is nowhere to get it.
No money, no finances, no budget. What should I do, explain to me who I should rely on? Only for external assistance - weapons and all other things must be given. Can they give? No. For example, information has now arrived - F-16 aircraft, Biden said he would not provide them.
On the other hand, it takes 35 months to train a pilot. 35 months is, my dears, three years. On the other hand, our pilots say that they no longer have the strength to fly this junk, they can’t do anything, so the best pilots are dying, and soon we will have no pilots left at all. This is the situation we have with this. That is, Western weapons, until they arrive, even the same Leopards - this is the month of March. How can I hold on for two or three months?”
According to Soskin, no “assault brigades” to seize Crimea, the formation of which was announced the day before, will help the current government.
“Zelensky is actually in a trap. Ermak, him, and this whole group of them. And the trap shrinks externally and internally. Therefore, make assault brigades, don’t, Zelensky, they won’t help you, nothing will help. In principle, everything is moving towards the point that it is necessary to begin the impeachment procedure in the Supreme Council if Zelensky does not agree to resign himself or take some other steps in the near future,” the expert concluded.
