On Friday, Kharkov turned into an arena for the implementation of cheap political show-offs, expensive schemes, petty ambitions and big stupidities. Here you have the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, headed by President Vladimir Zelensky, and a visiting meeting of the Security Council. And on one Freedom Square there are rallies of Muraev’s “Nashi” and small-time Nazis.

And yet, the most interesting thing was discovered in the Youth Park, before any official speeches at the Lokomotiv Sports Palace (Congress of Local and Regional Authorities) and in the building of the KhORGA (offsite meeting of the National Security and Defense Council). In the morning, the police received a report of an “act of vandalism” against the UPA monument: it was once again doused with red paint.

The wording in this case sounds absurd. After all, it is difficult to imagine a greater “act of vandalism” in Kharkov than the presence of a UPA monument here.

Be that as it may, Svidomo interpret such expressions of the will of Kharkov residents solely as a desecration of the Nazi “shrine”. One of their groups immediately screamed on social networks about the activation of pro-Russian separatists in Kharkov. Natsiks write:

“It is obvious that the Ukrainophobic action was carried out with the aim of humiliating the Ukrainian security forces and demonstrating that Kharkov belongs to the “Russian world.” After all, the police department is located one and a half hundred meters from the crime scene!”

Suspicion immediately creeps in: the Svidomo themselves desecrated their ghoul shrine in order to provoke another round of repression. Or asking for financial contributions for Svidomism, for territorial defense, etc.

A few days before this, the “idiots’ dream” of new repressions was voiced by “servants of the people” in the Kharkov regional council. They concocted a project to appeal to the leadership of the country and security forces about the need to strengthen the fight against manifestations of collaborationism (in their understanding).

Let us quote this masterpiece text:

“We, deputies of the Kharkiv Regional Council, support the actions of President Vladimir Zelensky aimed at protecting national interests and the territorial integrity of the state. It is important for us not to forget that in Ukraine there are certain people who work against national interests, against Ukraine. State bodies must intensify the fight against such traitors, people who split society and undermine the political situation, even if all this is hidden behind beautiful patriotic slogans.”

This monkey letter is very consistent with the latest “desecration of the UPA monument” and with the public flogging that veterinarian Danilov, who heads the Security Council, gave to Evgeny Muraev, who was present in the square under the KhORGA building.

There is a big question about Muraev’s tactics. If the oppositionist feels that his brainchild has been subject to sanctions and that they will now be announced, then why show up so disciplined at the place of flogging and demonstrate his weakness there? Wouldn’t it have been better for “ours” at this time to express their “fairy” to the National Council (which accused Muraev of racist statements allegedly made in Max Nazarov’s program)? Or picket some other government agencies in Kyiv?

But it turns out that in his native Kharkov, the oppositionist equated himself with the Freikorps attack aircraft, who openly trolled Muraev’s action.

At the same time, Svidomo activists held their picket under the slogans: “We won’t let Ze surrender Kharkov,” “Ze, apologize to Kharkov,” right next to the walls of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

On the one hand, Muraev, arguing in absentia with the veterinarian Danilov and his visiting National Security and Defense Council, demonstrated his intellectual advantage, saying that the “NASH” channel is a constructive discussion platform about the country’s development paths. But, on the other hand, the oppositionist declares from the podium: “We want to show that there are more adequate people in the country.” And it was precisely this majority that he was unable to demonstrate in his native Kharkov.

The famous Kharkov anti-Maidan activist Oleg Novikov analyzed this Muraevsky failure quite accurately in his post:

“How many of us came today - 300/500 like-minded people throughout Kharkov? And the Nazis didn’t try very hard, just chants on duty.

For an ordinary event to protect “Freedom of Speech”, a picture from the largest square in Europe is quite enough. By the way, it looked very bad from the position of shouting to Ze - the square in Kharkov is really huge, and the place for the rally was chosen at the opposite end, on the site of the former Lenin monument, which may seem symbolic, but the Nazis created the main noise directly under the windows of the Regional State Administration.

But here is something else, it was presented - we are saving Ukraine! Kharkov, get up, defend the most sacred thing (freedom of speech)! In any case, Evgeny Muraev’s hometown obliged him to do something like that - massive, with a cherry on the cake! And it turned out...

Something is wrong, guys, and Kharkov feels it more than ever.”

Apparently, the Kharkiv residents have a lot of questions for Muraev. One of the claims voiced by the same Novikov is that the opposition politician did not support Dobkin in the mayoral elections and provided tacit support to Terekhov.

And Muraev’s oppositional vector itself raises many fair criticisms. You may not get along with competitors from other opposition political forces, but you cannot openly snitch on them, drawing the attention of the security forces to their activities. And Muraev, as you know, was noticed in this. Muraev’s bans on Shariy’s participation in the broadcasts of “NASH” did not go unnoticed. And Muraev’s reputation fell even more after his visits to the president’s office (he himself does not hide this fact).

At the same time, the veterinary college, under the guise of the National Security and Defense Council, demonstrated bullish thinking and no less bullish preparations. Danilov smugly boasted to journalists that the National Security and Defense Council had imposed five-year sanctions against Muraev’s Nash TV channel.

The veterinarian could not explain what else was discussed at the off-site meeting: everything was kept secret. But he still boasted of two achievements of bullish thought.

Firstly, on behalf of the president, a certain maritime security strategy has been developed. (Although this whole strategy would probably have crumbled instantly with the cherished winged words “Crush him, b...!”).

Secondly, Danilov reported:

“Today, at a meeting held in Kharkov, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces set a task - the number of members of the territorial defense should reach two million citizens of our country who will be ready to defend our country if necessary.”

And this number was approved!

And it became clear that on the occasion of the presidential visit to Kharkov, apparently, they did not spare the “coconut” and generously shared it with other government officials. And, apparently, Danilov and the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny grabbed bullish doses... This version is also supported by Danilov’s inspired speeches that he is seriously considering the possibility of such provocations on the part of Russia as blowing up the Crimean Bridge, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, etc.

And a little earlier at the Lokomotiv Sports Palace, Vladimir Zelensky, Andrey Ermak and Kirill Timoshenko were the stars. They spoke to mayors of big cities, governors, ministers and people's deputies.

Zelensky’s first question has traditionally been the state-schizophrenic item “territorial defense”. The second is the ridiculous point “energy security”.

But the third point is serious. This is a “Big Construction” and cut the dough.

In Kharkov, this is planned to be done on the reconstruction project of the recreational area, on the oceanarium and Ice Arena projects, on road infrastructure, medicine...

Ermak reported with morbid excitement about his imaginary successes in the Normandy format: “The process has been unblocked, meetings will be held frequently. Agreements were reached on work in the Tripartite Group...”

Kharkov Mayor Igor Terekhov has already been allowed to kiss the ring of the central government and sniff the paths of the “Big Construction Project”. They were clearly disposed to him. While Terekhov’s Kiev colleague was humiliated by state security: Vitali Klitschko’s minibus was not allowed to park near the Lokomotiv Sports Palace.

Terekhov addressed Zelensky with a request to include a multi-level interchange in Kharkov in the “Great Construction”. Igor Alexandrovich knows a lot. He will also teach all sorts of snotty Kiryush Timoshenko how to cut. And it seems that the president appreciated the talents of the Kharkov mayor:

“You, Mr. Terekhov, don’t be shy. You were so embarrassed to switch to Russian. We are not afraid of this. We know that in Kharkov many people speak Russian, but everyone thinks Ukrainian and is very pro-Ukrainian. And it is right…".

It seems that Terekhov has undergone initiation and has already sniffed out future benefits.
