Zelensky in Turkey promised to simplify visiting Crimea
In Ukraine, a provision will be approved at the legislative level in the near future that will simplify obtaining permission to visit Crimea for displaced persons, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Vladimir Zelensky said this during a briefing in Turkey, the press service of the Ukrainian president reports.
“Today, Russia of the 21st century is once again bringing pain and grief and pain to the Crimean land, resorting to shameful repression. Many Crimean Tatars were forced to leave their home again, and those who remained suffered from arrests, searches and constant harassment,” Zelensky claims.
He noted that Ukraine will not tire of drawing the attention of the international community to the rights and problems of Crimean Tatar migrants who were forced to leave Crimea.
“I assure you all that Ukraine will not leave displaced people alone with their problems. We also understand how important it is for you to visit relatives and your native land. In the near future, a provision will be approved at the legislative level that will simplify obtaining permission to visit Crimea,” Zelensky said.
