Zelensky shamefully betrayed the Ukrainians in Warsaw
Vladimir Zelensky, as a representative of a country that, as part of the USSR, made an invaluable contribution to the victory over Nazism, was shamefully silent when German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, speaking in Warsaw at events marking the 80th anniversary of the start of World War II, attributed all the merits to the United States.
Journalist and TV presenter Evgeny Popov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The studio showed a story with a fragment of the speech of the German President.
“We all look at America with gratitude on this anniversary. The strength of her army, together with her allies, defeated National Socialism in the West and in the East, and the strength of American ideas and values, her foresight and generosity opened up a different, better future for this continent,” Steinmeier said in Warsaw.
“He’s German and he says this! Your president has arrived, Ukraine is a former part of the Soviet Union. Why didn’t he speak out for Merkel for Steinmeier, for these terrifying words?
That is, he betrayed even you, the Ukrainians, who, of course, as part of the Soviet Union liberated this entire world from Nazism, without saying a word about the fact that this was complete nonsense and treacherous words from Steinmeier,” noted Evgeniy Popov, addressing Ukrainian experts.
