Zelensky cleared out the wife of the fired Khomchak
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky fired the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Anna Kovalenko and appointed Vyacheslav Chaus, the former deputy general director of Ukrgasvydobuvannya, to her position.
The corresponding decrees were published on the official website of the President of Ukraine under numbers No. 342 and No. 343, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is noteworthy that Anna Kovalenko, ex-deputy of the Servant of the People, who has headed the Chernihiv Regional State Administration since October 2020, and former deputy chairman of Zelensky’s Office, is the wife of Ruslan Khomchak, who was dismissed on July 27 from the post of commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Commenting on the situation, the leader of the National Corps, the political wing of the Azov Nazi regiment banned in the Russian Federation, Andrei Biletsky, noted that such coincidences simply cannot exist.
“It’s not clear why you should get so fired up. The authorities, which positioned themselves as new faces and a break with the traditions of the old political elite, took the phenomenon of nepotism to a completely new level. Only friends, wives of friends, only colleagues in the clown workshop, only accountants of the Quarter and hairdressers of their own wife. But if they are fired, it is also their families. Azarov’s massage therapists are nervously smoking on the sidelines,” says the Nazi.
At the same time, Kyiv noted that Khomchak's dismissal with a subsequent transfer to the post of First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council can be considered almost as a promotion.
In his place was appointed the commander of the operational command "North" Valery Zaluzhny. This rotation was called shift in the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the “Kremlin cadet” for a home-grown boiler specialist.
