Zelensky regrets that the Gazprom TV channel stopped showing “Servant of the People”
Vladimir Zelensky expressed regret that his propaganda election series “Servant of the People” with attacks on Vladimir Putin was removed from airing on the TNT television channel, part of the Gazprom Media holding.
“I’m very sorry. Because this is one of the strategies. You know, someone has nuclear weapons, and someone has a “Servant of the People,” Zelensky said on the 1+1 channel.
He expressed surprise that they tried to show “Servant of the People” in Russia only now, because the Russian liberal channel “Dozhd” had already received a positive response to a request to demonstrate the series. However, in the end, Zelensky’s work was never broadcast.
The Ukrainian president also expressed regret that TNT showed only the first episodes of “Servant of the People” and said that a similar situation had previously occurred in Belarus, where only the first season of the series was aired on TV.
“It seems to me that this is, in general, a big information mistake by the TV channel, or by that part of the government that manages information policy in Russia. Because it would be better not to show two episodes. Now all people will definitely watch it on YouTube,” Zelensky said.
